More Pictures

Here are the pictures I promised.  They are out of order though...

Grandma and Grandpa Walsh gave the kids some snow toys for Christmas...our MN yard is flat, but the kids improvised. (Not a big surprise though...did I tell you the story of Colin sledding in my parents backyard-right down the steps towards the pool?  Or, how about the one last year when the boys, after seeing A Christmas Story for the first time, took their sled down the stairs in our house...right into the wall?)  Sledding down the slide-almost as good as stairs.

Back to the MN clime.  Actually, this was a warm day-it's been too cold to play outside for most of January.

The Wilson Clan on Christmas morning.

Ellie's favorite part of Christmas...chocolate for breakfast.  Yep, that's my girl.  (Do you like the exercise equipment in the background of this picture...poetic.  Nice one Tom.)

Ellie really does take after me...up all night on Christmas Eve.  She was soooo crabby Christmas morning, though.

Santa was here!

Oh yeah!
Skip forward a few weeks to Ellie's birthday.
A birthday package from Oma!
Big girl!

This was the first time she has enjoyed opening gifts (not as crabby as Christmas), it was fun to watch.  She was so animated, and really excited to see what was inside.

Her favorite gift was a new baby doll...she loves her babies!  (And, I love having a girl who loves girl toys!)

Happy Birthday sweet girl!

Happy Chinese New Year!  We made our own fortune cookies.   I'm not very good at coming up with the fortunes though...not enough wisdom yet, I guess.

It was pretty quick and easy, and the kids thought they tasted great.  We'll definitely do it again next year.

So there you have it...the latest in pictures at our house.  Now I don't have to feel guilty about doing my movie reviews.

Great pictures. How fun to see the Wilson Clan and Grandpa Perry. :) I seriously thought Michael was Kevin and couldn't figure out where Rhiannan was... Then I looked closer and realized they don't really look that much alike.

Ellie looked so sweet -- she is getting to be such a big girl. I love it. Happy Birthday!

So, was the Nordic track for you or for your parents. I'm totally intrigued and want to know if it works well...

I should have pointed that out in the blog...it is a mini tramp for the kids. I was hoping it would cut down on the couch jumping...
