Weekend:Update

This weekend started off with family movie night:

Yes, a bold choice for a mother of three young boys.  After the first fight scene they were "hi-ya"ing all over the family room, even Ellie joined in.  The DVD (purchased for less than $5 at Target) came with a head wrap - totally authentic I'm sure, so after fighting about who got to wear it, the other two boys ended up with dishtowels wrapped around their heads.  It was fun.  That really is a good movie, and it has been a while since I watched...but it all comes back to you...Daniel-son, Mr. Miyagi, wax-on, wax-off, sweep the leg.  Good Times.
Saturday we  went to a children's mental health fair, I wanted to check out the speaker on Oppositional Defiant Disorder...Colin?  Well, I hope not, and yet that name sounds like the perfect description of him (and most 3 year olds, I guess).  We  missed the presentation though, so we had to settle for just doing the bounce houses. Then we went to linner at Space Aliens, a Chuck E Cheese type place.
Sunday we had some friends over for linner.  (I think I can get used to this combo lunch/dinner meal, rather than making two separate meals.)  We are really going to miss the friends we've made here in MN.  Tom is off to the airport.  This separate living is no good-we are sooo excited to be together again soon.  I do not know how single parents do it?!?!
There it is, not too productive, but overall, a pretty fun weekend.
