This weekend I left the kiddos home with Tom and took off to Denver with my mom for my friend's wedding. She is a friend from high school-the last of the bunch to get married. (You may recognize her from the pictures of the fun shower we had for her a few weeks ago.) This weekend was a Mother/Daughter shower and the wedding. I love my old girlfriends! I am so glad we are still friends. It was great to be in Denver and to visit with so many people I haven't seen for so long. I am so grateful for the influence of so many terrific people during my youth-they still inspire and support me.
Stephanie, everything was beautiful! I am so happy for you.
PS-Tom and the kids survived.

You know, one of my greatest hopes and prayers is that our kids have the kind of friends growing up that we did. Is that possible, or was there just something about Willow Creek Ward?
We were so blessed to have such supportive and great friends growing up. Stephanie looked great -- that is a very cute picture of her. It was great to see you this weekend!
