Halloween

Here's a Halloween picture. (I'm having technical difficulties, so after several tries on a stack of pictures, here's just one.) It was a pretty low-key Halloween for the Walshes. I am always torn with the expense of Halloween. There are some awesome costumes out there, but when it comes down to spending lots of $$$ for one evening of wear, maybe a party or two, it just doesn't seem worth it. This year we had two Storm Troopers, Superman, and a witch. Trick or Treating was great-the weather was so mild. The kiddos had lots of fun, which is what it's all about, right?

Now on to Thanksgiving...and Christmas!

I'm so glad you posted pictures of the kids in their costumes. I kept trying to imagine the storm troopers and was coming up empty. They look great!

great photos!! I have found a lot of success with using character jammies for costumes. I bought Adam some Superman jammies a few years ago, and this year he was Batman with jammies. He didn't mind that he didn't have "muscle" looking costumes. The jammies are a little more expensive than regular, but hey, they can wear them over and over.....
