Tonight we did something so fun! We went to a production of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, performed in the American Fork Amphitheater. Colin and Ellie stayed home with a babysitter. Oma, Opa, Kevin, Rhiannon, Aidan, Cade, Tom, and I bundled up and braved the cold, windy night. We arrived in time to have a hayride through the Hollow, grab some hot chocolate and stake our spot on the cold stone steps.
You never know what you will get with a small town production, but I thought they did a great job. (They even had a real black horse for the Headless Horseman to ride!) It was just the right blend of silly and scary. The cold, windy night added just the right ambiance for the story. It was so fun - this may become a new Walsh tradition.

I love small town productions. How fun that the kids got to see it, too.
Ya, I generally like them too. I always walk away thinking, " I should go to the theater more." How fun!
That sounds like such a fun October/Halloween activity. I like going to productions as well. An outdoor theater sounds like so much fun!
